AVIGUS · For the battery ecosystems team in Ningde · October 2026
Operators like Maersk and DHL tell you what they want from a battery. I tell you what their drivers and planners in Europe live with every day: winter range, charging stops, payload, service. I am a working truck driver and a logistics office agent in Belgium, neutral ground between the truck makers and the operators.

Who you are talking to
I drive heavy trucks in Europe and I plan trucks from a logistics office. I know the questions a driver asks at the charger and the questions a planner asks before a truck leaves.
I represent Chinese electric-truck makers in Europe and I run three websites: the electric trucks and chargers of IAA 2026, what an electric truck really costs per country, and the megawatt charging hub with battery storage.
I offer this to the team that looks after the batteries delivered to the truck makers.

Routes, charging windows, payload and delivery slots at a logistics office. I see where an electric truck fits a plan and where it breaks one.

What the battery team needs from Europe
DHL signed with CATL in Hanover in September 2026, Maersk in Hong Kong in October 2025. The question now is what their European fleets really need from the battery.
Five things decide it: usable range in winter, a charging stop that fits the driver's legal break, payload left for the goods, the value of the truck after five years, and service within a day.
Only drivers and planners feel these every day. That is the feedback I bring to Ningde.

What operators ask about a battery:
Why a Belgian partner
Belgium is not the home of the German truck groups and not the home of the French one. A Belgian partner talks to all of them, and to the Chinese makers, without taking sides.
Next door, in the Netherlands, the first Europe-built SuperPanther (Windrose) runs for DHL Freight since September 2026: about 2,000 km a week, into Belgium too, on the densest charging network of Europe.
Belgium is home to one of the two biggest ports of Europe, next door to the other, on Europe's busiest freight corridor. What works here works in Europe.
